Darren had no clue what was in store for him after Christmas! He knew he was dreading his 30th Birthday on January 4th, but he didn’t know I had a surprise trip to San Diego planned. I rented a house right on Mission beach from New Years until January 5th. His good friend Dave and his girlfriend Jes from MA came out to celebrate with us. If he wasn’t surprised already that we were in San Diego, he was even more surprised and excited that Dave came out for his Birthday.
It was a great and relaxing time. For the rest of the week more
people came including my parents, John and Katrina, Lauren, and on Sunday Kyla, Jake and
Riley drove down from LA, it was great to see them since we hadn’t seen them since the fourth of July.
Riley is so adorable and is going to be a great cousin! Everyone left
Sunday night and Darren and I had the house to ourselves for a
few days. For darren’s actual birthday we walked around and hung
out all day and went to a nice restaurant to celebrate. A very special birthday to remember, and probably the last relaxing trip for a while!
