Happy Birthday to Me!

I turned 29, and I will enjoy this last year in my 20's! I had a nice birthday. My friend Katie was in town, so we got to hang out with her for a few days. Darren and Brice bought me turquoise earrings and balloons. Then Katie, Megan, Jenny and I went out to dinner and then went to Toby Keith's Bar and Grill for a fun night out.

I must say it topped last years celebration of Darren having the flu and me being up with Brice every hour and a half. Although Grandma Ruth was here and she let me sleep six straight hours during the day which was appreciated!

Brice is a walking fool!

On the fourth of July weekend Brice took off. He started walking everywhere and decided he didn't want to crawl anymore. It is way faster to walk! Then it only took a few days and he was dancing and walking. The kids got talent!

The Puppy

Well the house needs a dog, so while Uncle Scott was still here we went and got Walker our Aussie puppy. On June 27th we went to Chandler to meet Walker. And needless to say we took him home with us. He was born February 20th, 2011 and is a very good pup. Only a few accidents in the house and slept in his cage the first night without a peep. He is very good with Brice and will be a very good fit for the family. Welcome Walker!

Happy 1st Birthday Brice!

What a great birthday! I can't believe a year has already flown by and I have a toddler! On Brice's birthday, grandma took us to Makutu's Island, a place where you can run around and stay cool. He had a lot of fun.
We also had a great surprise, Darren's brothers flew out to celebrate with us. They came in on Brice's birthday Thursday June 23rd. All weekend we hung out in the pool, I think the Uncles left as one big prune. We celebrated on Saturday with friends and family. It was a train themed birthday with hamburgers, hot dogs and of course cake. Brice was not shy with the cake, he dove right in. He received a lot of toys including a tunnel and tent, blocks, a play mailbox, an alphabet caterpillar, a catch me cat, a music set, trucks, a doggy bank (painted by Aunt Kyla) and so much more. It was a very special day.

Brice, when I first saw you on the ultrsound photos, I was in love, and when I first saw you in person all 9lbs 13 oz I fell in love all over. I love watching you learn and grow. And to think how much you have done in just one year is astounding. I will miss my little baby, but I look forward to all your new adventures as a toddler. You are a great kid and I will love you always!

Buddy you are missed

On June 18th we lost a very special member of our family. Buddy you will always be remembered, we love you!
Siobhan, Darren and Brice.
